Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of Hoppr software and services.

Licence Grant

Hoppr grants the user a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and operate the application on devices owned or lawfully controlled by the user. No ownership of the software, its source code, or any intellectual property is conferred.

Restrictions

No Warranty

The application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The operator disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Message delivery, availability of the Tor and Nostr fallback, and continuity of service are not guaranteed beyond what is cryptographically enforced within the protocol.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the application.

Termination

The licence terminates automatically upon any material breach of these terms. Upon termination, the user shall uninstall the application and cease all use.

Amendments

The operator reserves the right to revise these terms. Material revisions will be communicated through the application not less than fourteen (14) days before taking effect.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.

Operator

Hoppr is operated by a company incorporated in the United Arab Emirates. Formal correspondence may be addressed to legal@hoppr.chat.
